Edge Glued Panel

Our Edge Glued Panels (EGP) are made of finger jointed or solid wood lamellas (strips, flitches) glued together. We offer them in various forms such as Furniture panels, Table tops, Countertops, Cutting boards, Butcher blocks, Bench tops, Stool seats.

In today's market they are an important component of high quality furniture designs, residential constructions, and industrial products such as workstations.

Species:

  • Birch moisture content 6-8 %
  • Pine moisture content 6-8 %

    Common Sizes:

  • Thickness within: 2/4" - 3"
  • Width within: 2" - 49"
  • Length for finger jointed lamellas is up to 10 feet
  • Length for solid lamellas is up to 7 feet

    Joint connections - edge-rib with shoulder, furniture tenon

    		• Edge - round or square

    Glue - Klebit 303 (Kleiberit - Germany)

    Finished - mineral oil (Shell Ondina 933) or laquer

  • Roughness degree 220

    Unfinished

  • Mixed white sap wood and pathological heartwood

  • Mixed white sap wood and pathological heartwood
  • Light spots are allowed
  • Knots with diameter up to 1/2" closed, up to 1/4" open with further filling
  • Checks not allowed

    Delivery:

  • 20' or 40' container

    Packing:

  • Oil finish - On pallet with corrugated cardboard.
  • Varnish finish - On a pallet and individually placed in corrugated cardboard box.

    Each pallet is secured with two blocks for each corner and for entire height.
