Glued Beam and Cutstock

The glued beam is the material intended for production of window blocks, framed doors, and other products used in residential construction. Each beam consist of 3 profiles glued together. Each profile can also be supplied separately as cutstock.

 

Window Beam is made of three-plied glued lamellas.
Standard dimentions: 4 x 4, 3 x 4, length is up to 20 feet

Length for finger jointed: up to 20 feet
Length for solid: up to 16 feet

Species: Pine, Larch

Moisture content: 10 ± 2%

  • Akzo Nobel Casco Products (Sweden)
  • Class of glued connection D4

    Saw cuts:

  • Outside lamellas - radial, semiradial
  • Inside lamella - tangential

    Grading characteristics:

    Grade II
    intergrown knots, sound knots diameter up to 1/4" not allowed allowed 1 per 3ft of length in inside lamella
